If you are looking to order in a wedding gown, we advise you start looking for your dress around 12 months before your wedding date. Some of our gowns can take 9+ months to be made and arrive to us from the designers. Then you will need to start your alterations 3 months before your big day.

 

What if I don’t have enough time to pre-order a gown?2023-08-08T22:48:14+00:00

Don’t panic if you don’t have time to pre order. We also have our sister company, The Bridal Boutique Outlet, just a short drive from us! This is where you try, buy and take away on the same day. All of the dresses stocked there are designer bridal gowns, used in our boutique as samples/try ons – at discounted prices!

Firstly you have an exciting 90 minute ‘style the bride’ appointment at our comfortable and luxurious bridal boutique.
With fizz, fun, your guests and our stylist’s expertise.
If you find your dream dress, we will take the measurements needed to order your beautiful designer wedding gown!
A 50% payment upfront is required and we will advise you on an estimated delivery date from the designer. 7 days before your dress is due to arrive in store, we will require the remaining balance to be paid. We’ll then get you back in with us for your final fit before your alterations journey begins.
How many dresses can I try on?2022-03-03T14:10:25+00:00

We start with about six dresses, your bridal stylist will be listening to what you like and what you don’t like in a dress and can pull more to help you find your dream dress.

We recommend four including yourself. Please do let us know if you would like to bring more as we understand how exciting it is finding your dream dress.

What do I need to do to prepare for the appointment? What underwear do I need?2022-02-17T16:28:01+00:00

We ask for minimal make up and no fake tan please, as this can transfer onto the dresses.
Nude or white seamless knickers or shape wear is advised – however you feel comfortable.
All of our gowns have built in bras, so we will (as long as you are comfortable) have you remove your bra during the appointment to ensure the best fit is guaranteed.

Shoes aren’t needed for your first appointment as we have a 9 inch podium for you to stand on.

We do not have an in-house seamstress, we have one recommended seamstress who’s details we pass to our Brides. She is located in Great Moor, just 10 minutes by car from the boutique. View her website here: https://www.deborahbayan.com/contact.html
The alteration costs are not included in the gown price.

No, you are more than welcome to source your own seamstress but we always advise that if you do please do your research to make sure you find someone who specialises in wedding dresses.
